Is my build good?
Ok. so i is necro/ranger...but the necro page wont load. So i post here cuz i is half ranger. I am wondering if this build is good. 6marksmanship , 5death, 5blood. I try to steal lots of health from the enemy after i summon some minions then i throw in some deadly swarm and then i use my bow while the minions fight. I want to only focus on 2 attributes. Which ones should i use, i heard that n/r is bad...is it??
so basically should i just summon minions and use bow...or should i use blood spells and bow..or no bow.

From your stats I can tell you are quite low level. At that point in the game it doesn't matter much what your build is, but later on you WILL need to specialize a bit more. For a necro you will want a high soul reaping to generate energy and either focus on death magic or curse magic (blood is pretty weak later on outside of a few special uses). Death magic lets you summon minion armies, while curse magic is more of a support style. In either case using a bow is a pretty bad idea as a necromancer. You won't have ranger runes. You won't have Ranger expertise (greatly reduces energy costs, though soul reaping might make up for it you lose the skills too). If you really want to use a bow you should make a ranger.

N/R is generally bad. If you're a necro, get to 20, play SS in PvE with weakness and you'll pwn. In HM, go Sv/curses, Blood support(OoV), or Discordway.
Necros are not meant to wield physical weapons. They can screw or bless melee. Weakness is an absolute must in HM. AoE curses like Reckless haste adds to melee hate also. Necros do have anti caster spells but stick to melee hate.

[spiteful spirit] is your friend.
And a bow necro is very bad.

The last time I saw a Bow Necro was years ago playing Diablo 2. My bro used a socketed bow to add poison damage after he had raised his golem, weaponswapping to a casting set when he needed to use spells for support/offense.
A GW N/R won't work, quite like that, as the Bow itself can't inflict Poison, only skills.
Make it to lvl 20. Ascend. Change your secondary from /R to something more useful.

Then you have a pretty big problem if you intend to continue playing the way you want to. A low Soul Reaping means you're gonna run out of energy quick, so you can't summon more minions or cast any more life steals. Low Death means whatever minions you summon will be quickly killed anyway. Low Blood means you aren't really dealing much damage, just seems so with things at such a low lvl. And a low Marksmanship means you're not doing much damage with a bow anyway.
At your low lvl(and limited skill choices), just pump everything into Death and Soul Reaping. That should get you far enough that you can actually make a viable PvE build for your play style.

As has been said, N/R isn't particularly effective. However, that doesn't mean you should do it for fun. Especially as it looks as if you are low level and learning the game.
So what can you do that is some fun?
I'm assuming you are going through prophesies?
There are quite a few fun skills available to you at lowish levels, though one or two of these you will probably need to get a bit further into the game, either that or unlock the skill in PvP with faction then buy a tome off of someone to get the skill on your character.
Two of the best things about being a ranger is access to interrupts and to a pet. Try something like this: Put your points into Death, Soul reaping and beast mastery. No need for points in marksmanship as you are not using your bow for direct damage but for utility, and with lowish level mobs the loss of direct bow damage isn't so bad.
[Distracting shot][predator's pounce][animate bone minions][death nova][comfort animal][Charm animal][resurrection signet]
Add in a skill like [favorable winds][apply poison](needs a few points in wilderness survival), [savage shot][mark of pain](needs some curses)
Experiment around fun and variation rather than effectiveness. There is plenty of tinme to change secondary profession later on and be effective, for now just enjoy playing with different things.

being secondary ranger isnt the best thing to do, your gonna want to either change the profession once you ascent or if your low enough you might as well make a new necro OR a ranger if you like the bow. your gonna want to focus on soul reaping exclusively then either pick death or curses, death is good for minions and curses is one of the best attribute lines for necros, as this contain SS and a lot of skills like that. Blood is generally a bad way to go.

But really you are new do as you wish but there are no good builds for a Necro/Ranger, so just do not do it, change asap and try not to dip into the ranger skills

You can change your secondary later in the game - when this actually all starts mattering. Where you are right now, using just necromancer skills (from Soul Reaping and Death Magic) should work fine.

No need to roll a new character, you'll do fine if you focus on your primary until level 20 and ascension.

Amy is right, stick with your level 10. The important part is to have fun and learn the game, you get to change secondary later, and no secondary is really going to make a big difference to you early on when your attribute points are few.
But get a pet, no other profession can do that.

Don't who said that, but it probably wasn't because of the secondary.

if ur that new to GW, don't you have more than 1 char slot?? If so, just make a necro AND a ranger, then if u want to have fun later make a R/N toucher if u really like ur necro. A N/R is not a good idea at any level, as there are better, more effective combinations. But as others have said, the game is about having fun, experimenting and learning. If u decide to go N/R again, get a pet while ur leveling up and that way u'll always have one if/when u ever need one. Not sure when that might be, unless u wanted to make ur own minion? lol.. Sometimes playing char's in an unorthodox way is fun, and is definitely a way to once in a while breaking the monotony of grinding titles, etc. once u start doing that. It doesn't take that long to level new chars should you decide to re-roll any, just get some exp scrolls and check the forums on places to level quickly (boreal station, dwarven boxing for example) -->edit: if u have eotn
